Reporting

How to control page size/formatting with the PDF Server

Hello,

I am creating a daily report which will contains ~ 10 pages of statistics, charts, exceptions, etc.

I have a few questions:

  1. Is there a way to control the pagination with the PDF report/server. For example, can I use HTML code to create section/page boundaries?

  2. Can we add links/navigation in the PDF report?

  3. Can we control the format of tables (e.g. being able to wrap text that is too long to display)?

Thanks, Jean

Hi,

The only way I found to create pdf rendreing exactly what I want was to use Advanced XML.
By this way, It' possible to format page, but, it's not really possible to create a pdf document like a pdf editor.
If you are intersted, I can send you exemple of PDF generated with associated XML code.

Olivier.
