How can i know if my alert is sending mails

Hello plp,

I am creating a new alert, the search and the configuration of sending emails is perfect.

The questions is how can i know doing a search if the alert has been delivered ok?

i search

index =_internal source =python.log but this logs dont specific if its si delivered

Splunk doesn't know if the message was delivered or not. It just submits the SMTP request to the designated server and expects it to be delivered.
