FEATURE REQUEST: Application Export via the User Interface

Since the feature to import an application via the UI has been around for ages (upload a tar or zip), I'd like to suggest you add the counterpart feature for exporting an application to a tar or zip. Please also include the "system" application as well as applications under $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps.

You can do it via rest:
