SPL-154876, SPL-152598 The "srtemp" directory can grow to hundreds of GB- Workaround before version 7.1.2

Hello guys,

Could you please share information about the workaround for issue SPL-154876, SPL-152598( that is fix at 7.1.2) if it is not possible upgrade, what can be done for latest version.
