We get an message about the 13 May 2016, which notice us to Update your Splunk Root Certificate

Please kindly help to verify our splunk necessary to renew or not.

The message you got contained this near the top:

Product Advisory: Default root certificates for release 6.2 and prior versions of Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Light and Hunk will expire on July 21, 2016.

If you're using the mentioned products with release 6.2 or earlier, you may be affected.
