I would like to know what are the queries genereally we use to pull the Performance Report which has Response times.
Please let me know.
Thanks in Advance.
I dont have experience on Splunk.I am just going through the documentation.
Once the data is getting into the Splunk,I want to identify if there is degradation of performance to any other app eg Opera due to the install of another agent on the desktop;
Please don't keep reposting the exact same question multiple times. The content of your posts have been very broad and it's hard to understand exactly what you want. What is your prior experience with Splunk? What research have you done in documentation and previous Splunk Answers posts and what have you attempted to solve your question? Have you tried writing your own searches? What are you expecting for the output of results? It's important to give as much detail as possible instead of just posting a question and expecting a full answer from the community. If you haven't already done so, please go through the Search Tutorial.
If you're confused about constructing certain searches after this, then the community will be here to help answer more specific detailed questions.
I too would like to know what reports, searches, metrics splunk users are finding helpful for general performance monitoring usage. End-to-End latency, averages for turn around time, breaking up network time vs internal application tier time, etc. Curious what other folks are using to get meaningful data out of Splunk for monitoring applications and or web servers.
