Monitoring Console Summary Dashboard, what Search Latency indicates?

Hello,

In the Monitoring Console Summary Dashboard, under Deployment Metrics, there is an "Avg. Search Latency" indicator. I searched in the official documentation but I didn't found an extensive explanation.

What does this metric shows?

Thanks a lot,

Edoardo

Search latency is the difference between when a search is scheduled to run and when it actually runs.  That can happen when no resources are available at the scheduled time.
