Monitoring Splunk

Identifying which cluster host a user logs into

Is there a way to notify users of a search cluster which machine they are currently logged in on?

There are times when someone has an issue that might be specific to which cluster member they are on at the time and I would like them to be able to identify which machine they've logged into.

Thanks

You could ask your users to go to Settings >Server settings >General settings and look at the server name there when they have a problem.

I am not aware of any tokens or officially supported way to get the server name to appear on the UI.

All the best
