Monitoring Splunk

How do you know when your Splunk License rolls to a day?

I am trying to monitor license warnings but I am not sure when the Splunk License Day ends and rolls over to the next day.

Are all Splunk Licenses set to UTC by default?

Please advise.

Thank you

Hi @Glasses2 ,

for my knowledge, licenses roll over at the midnight of the local time of the installed server.

The timezone shouldn't be relevant, it should be relevant only the time of the License Master Server (or the Stand Alone Server where it's installed).

Ciao.

Giuseppe

@gcusello

So if my LM host is set to UTC, then the license rolls at Midnight UTC.

That is what I was trying to verify.

Thank you so much!
