How do I change Navigation menu background color based on panel search criteria?

Looking to change Navigation menu background color based on panel search criteria.

Here idea is i don't want to go on each dashboard and see what all alerts are there.

Just to see Green , Yellow and Red color change dynamically on Navigation menu then i will go to specific dashboard
