SmartStore disk options

Looking at moving to SmartStore and had a quick question. We are planning on putting SSD's in the servers for the Hot/Warm storage, but can we also put spinning disk in the servers for the data that is copied back over from S3 to the indexers for searches that hit data that is not already on the local disk?

We are running 7.3.3.

Hi

There is no longer warm with SmartStore enabled indexes (just hot and the cache)
you will need SSD for hot + cache, see this SmartStore doc

This is not true. Warm still exists and Cache is nothing but the total space across Hot & Warm.
