Exploring Splunk by David Carasso, Splunk’s Chief Mind

Hello,

Hello,

I'm fairly new to Splunk and don't have any money for paid courses. I found this great book that seems to explain SPL clearly. I have downloaded and installed the trial version of Splunk and I already completed the course that comes with the Splunk trial. I want to go through the tutorial in the book "Exploring Splunk" by David Carasso, Splunk’s Chief Mind but I cannot find the sample data mentioned on page 17 at this link http://splunk.com/goto/book#sample_data

I've searched it for several days and cannot find it. Can anyone in the Splunk community help me with this? I would really appreciate it and I anticipate making great progress with it.

Thank you
