Upgraded to Splunk 6, now the settings menu shows duplicate entries

Hi,

Recently upgraded to Splunk 6, and there is a small issue in the UI where every option in the settings menu at the top of the page is duplicated.

I have managed to identify the area that has caused this, which is because we have an app which is essentially a duplicate of the search app (let's call it search_2 for now). If I delete search_2 the issue no longer occurs.

However, obviously I want to keep this but I am unable to identify exactly which file within it is causing this duplication in the settings menu.

Anyone know which file and what the fix would be? Deletion of something or amending?

Move the manager directory from search_2/default/data/ui elsewhere and restart. My guess is you've also duplicated that, and Splunk detects those as manager/settings pages to render.
