Unable to login by installing Developer Lincese

Hi Everyone,

I have just installed the developer license in splunk but I am unable to login with my credentials. I have also tried to login from the Admin credentials also but it is owing Invalid username and password.

Any suggestions.

Adding a license doesnt effect the user or password tables. Were you using LDAP or SAML before?

If you're unable to login, you can try renaming $splunk_home$/etc/passwd to passwd.old, and restarting Splunk. This will reset the admin password to the default changeme. From there you can login again.
