I am getting runtime error R6034 - "Am application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. I get this error when Splunkd tries to start and when I try to set up event log collection.
Any help will be appreciated.
I had the same problem on Win 2003 Server; then I realized I had installed ActiveState Python after I had installed Splunk. I uninstalled ActiveState's Python, and now splunkd starts right up.
