Splunk Licenses Split

We are requesting to spit the 2Gb license (00788964) into two 1 GB licenses. How is this accomplished?

If you have to use those 2 distinct licenses on separate license masters, you can reach splunk support, they can help split the license.
2 new smaller licenses will be issued, and the old one will be revoked.

You have to login to License Master and create two different pools of 1 GB size.

The master/slave licensing option wont work in our situation as our networks are separate isolated environments. We were planning to license x2 servers individually, with 1 GB license each. Can we split the 2GB license into x2 1GB licenses?
