PDF-server : aborting PDF generation

We installed the PDF server. We followed the instruction in the manual and checked if Xvfb was installed. The only difference is that the splunk url is been rewritten by the Apache. The url is http://splunk.vaph.be/splunk for the Splunk Server.

The pdfgeneration does not work and gives following errors

2010-06-22 12:55:35,328 ERROR pdfhandler:584 - (400) Remote host does not look like a Splunk server; aborting PDF generation 2010-06-22 12:55:35,328 ERROR (400) Remote host does not look like a Splunk server; aborting PDF generation 2010-06-22 14:00:39,557 ERROR An error occurred while generating a PDF of this report: Failed to contact appserver: Not Found

Apparantly an issue with the rewritting rule but I can't find the solution.

Anyone ?

Regards

Unfortunately this is a known issue with the current version of the PDF server app - A new version will be released shortly that addresses the problem when used in conjunction with the latest version of Splunk.
