Hi,

I have a Hunk license with the capacity of 10 Nodes. I have configured the Hadoop Nodes and Mongo also. When I am searching the Mongo DB, I am getting the License warnings,

Can Anybody tell me the How Hunk license will work with the Mongo DB Data?

Thanks in Advance

As a streaming ERP that does not talk to Hadoop, the Mongo DB app has a different licensing model. Data that the app returns from Mongo to you search head is charged against your Splunk Enterprise indexing volume. This is explained on the last section of this page:

http://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Hunk/6.3.1/Hunk/StreamingLibraries

This means that each search you run independently counts against your license.
