How do you change the ip address of the host on which Splunk forwarders are installed?
In deployment server, i can see the windows host with the old IP address. I want to change the IP address of the deployment client.
I want to update the IP address of that host .
Please guide me.

Hi,
Couple of ways...
Change hostname
in inputs.conf and restart splunk on client.
Change the default values. Run this splunk set servername foo.domain.com
