Does an upgrade to 8.0 create a log? - Splunk Community

Installation

While upgrading from 7.3 to 8.0, the upgrade fails. Is there a log anywhere that records what has happened?

Check out $SPLUNK_HOME/var/log/splunk/migration.log.*
