Does Splunk version 6.2.6 support ADFS 3.0? Can it pull logs and authentication?

We have Splunk 6.2.6 and looking to add ADFS 3.0 logs and authentication. But looking online, i see our version may not be supported? We would need to upgrade to 6.4. Is that correct?
