Hello All,

I have just installed splunk from .deb package with no errors
and i'm trying to run it. It's first time so i get this error when i try to use "./splunk start --accept-license"

Cannot start; missing essential directory: /opt/splunk/etc/licenses
Checking critical directories...Validating databases (splunkd validatedb) failed with code '11'. If you cannot resolve the issue(s) above after consulting documentation, please file a case online at http://www.splunk.com/page/submit_issue

Any help is really appreciated!

I re-downloaded package and it worked now. However i was checked md5 after my first download but i think there was a problem about my package installer.

Anyway this problem has been solved.

Thanks again.
