Can I reinstall the free license version on a server?

I installed the free license of Splunk on my local machine. Now I want to uninstall it from the local and install it on my server.
Is this a license violation?

Not a problem. You can just go back to Splunk.com, download the right package and install it on your server.

Thanks @sdaniels. Both the machines are windows platforms, so I could just FTP the installable to the server?

Sure. I assume they are both 64 bit. The only reason you'd need to download again is if you had need for the 32 bit install.
