CLI auto-complete stopped working after 8.2. upgrade

Functionality worked before the upgrade. After upgrade logon shows "Tab-completion of "splunk <verb> <object> is available".

Like,

$ source ./setSplunkEnv
Tab-completion of "splunk <verb> <object>" is available.

But when utilized it returns "Splunk re-bash: completion: function 'fSplunkComplete' not found.

File is in "/opt/splunk/bin/setSplunkEnv" "/opt/splunk/share/splunk/cli-command-completion.sh" location and referenced files are both available.

*** How to work around the issue ***

1. open "$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/system/static/splunkrc_cmds.xml",
2. Then go to the line 6232 and add merge-buckets for "cmd name"

6232 <cmd name="merge-buckets">

3. Save the change
4. source ./setSplunkEnv and verify it works.
