How to take the Splunk Admin exam without taking the course first?

Hello,

Current i have the core user, power user and security Admin exams available to take.  I want to take the splk-1003, but it current not unlock for me. If i pass the power user exam, will this unlock the admin exam? or do i have to pay 2000 bucks take the training and then take the exam?

i have already passed the core user exam.

Yes. Once you clear the power user exam the admin exam gets unlocked
