Getting Data In

indexing older log files

I have been indexing akamai log files since 12/18/2012 to the present. A user requested that I index older files from 5/18/2012 to 12/17/2012 so they can scan that data also. Is there any issue indexing older log files. I was going to put them in an Akamai logs directory on my indexer where the other akamai files are being picked up daily.

No there will not be any issues as long as the data format is the same.
