I am trying to install Splunk 4.3 and get an Error 1310 with writing some python files. I also tried it on 4.2 and got the same error. I am running 64-bit Windows 7.
How do I fix this to get the installer to complete?
Error 1310 is a Windows permissions-related error. make sure that the user you are installing Splunk as has the correct permissions as described here:
