When looking at the Search Window the Sourcetypes section is not populated?

When I login to splunk the search window comes up with Sources, Sourcetypes, & Host, but the sourcetypes either takes a long time to display or doesn't display at all?? Any help is much appreciated.

I think I have answered my own question. After some research have determined that the Data files had been corrupted. So I removed them and restarted Splunk and now the SourcesTypes date is being populated.
