What are the software and hardware requirements for Splunk HEC?

Hi,

I want to confisure Splunk HEC on dedicated splunk server. Please let me know the server hardware and software requirements for this.

Thanks @Azeemering , so according to this doc, the general splunk enterprise dedicated for only HEC will be able to handle the requests. The only thing is we need to change the IO threads and pilpelines for better performance. Do you agree?

Splunk HEC comes with your Splunk enterprise package. There's no additional hardware and software requirements for it. Go to settings -> Data inputs -> HTTP Event Collector -> Click on add new and Just follow the documentation mentioned below, and you're all set.

I already went through this doc.It does not specify the hardware requirement for HEC dedicated splunk instance.
