Want to import Excel data in SPLUNK

Is it possible to import Excel data into SPLUNK, If yes, kindly let me know the procedure

You'll need to have it in csv format first.

My input contains some garbled data if it is imported in CSV, but if the same data is getting opened in EXCEL it is coming fine ( some korean data is there which is not recognized by .txt ), Help me to get rid of this problem please
