Unable to fetch any data from Ubuntu UF which should be reporting to cloud splunk.

1) Installed splunk UF 9.2.0 and installed credentials package from splunk cloud too.

2) ports are open and traffic is allowed
3) No error in splunkd.log.
4) Currently no inputs are configured, checking data connectivity by internal logs.

check data as index=_internal source=*metric.log*

Splukd.log shows below warnings only

Hello @kate ,

Below are two things that you can check:

1) index=_internal host=<<ubuntu_hf>>  ---> Check if there are any events or not. Even if there are few events, it means that connectivity is established.

2) Did you restart splunk after installation of Splunk Cloud UF credentials package?

If the above two approaches do not help, check for splunkd.log on the ubuntu UF instance itself. It should point out to why it is failing to send the logs to SplunkCloud.

Thanks,
Tejas.
