Getting Data In

Unable to complete upload of data set from external source?

I'm working to upload some data sets from Kaggle in order to learn how to use Splunk and am unable to get the datasets fully added and am receiving an error message of: Upload failed with WARN : supplied index 'Airbnb2' missing.  I have downloaded the .csv files from Kaggle and everything in the Add Data process seems to be working fine up until the review page and when I try to Submit it I receive the above error message. I am fairly new to learning computers and any assistance anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated?

Did you create an Airbnb2 index while uploading data? You can verify in the settings->indexes, if it is being created or not.

If not, you can create it while uploading the data.
Refer to this documentation:
https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/Splunk/8.0.4/Data/Modifyinputsettings#Index

So I checked and it did indeed create the indexes (to be honest I'm not sure exactly what that means/does although my understanding was it's just a bookmark of sorts for the dataset).  The problem is that the data is not being uploaded - when I go to those indexes there is no data for me to work with.  It is giving me that error message just before completing the process of uploading the data and not allowing me to continue any further.

I just wanted to thank you for your assistance earlier and update this post that I found a resolution to my problem of uploading the data. It was an issue with the timestamp on the data and I had to go in and manually configure the timestamp to current and then it allowed me to upload the data without any further issues.
