Uable to connect Splunk using php sdk

I am using Splunk PHP SDK and I am not able to login using API.

$SplunkExamples_connectArguments = array(
'host' => 'api.9xnn-6gtz.data.splunkstorm.com',
'port' => '8089',
'username' => 'xxxxx',
'password' => 'xxxxx',
'token' => 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx',
);

It gives me an error :
Login Failed.
Reason: String could not be parsed as XML

I also tried using curl but there also I get error :
curl: (7) Failed to connect to api.nr5b-yk5q.data.splunkstorm.com port 8089: Con
nection refused

Please help.
