Whats the difference between calling one transforms and two transforms in a props.conf file?

1 transform:
TRANSFORMS-abc = a,b,c

2 transforms:
TRANSFORMS-a = a
TRANSFORMS-b = b

1) I think formality - as you can see it would be easy to recognize the transform 1, it's cleaner to read
2) There is some time that configurations files be greedy, who's first one to run will work.
