Tableau 10.5.2 Splunk 7.2.4 connection issues using ODBC 2.1.1

Hi,
We have Tableau 10.5.2 using SPlunk ODBC connection with version 2.1.1 to connect splunk storage on version 7.2.4 and get the following error :
[Splunk]SplunkODBC Unexpected response from server. Veriy the server URL. Error parsing JSON: Text only contains white space(s)
Articles on splunk support site says this is a know issue DVPL-7360 with Case: 334302 for the same is open.
Do we know any turn out or other odbc driver published to get rid of this issue ?
