Getting Data In

Splunk installer was unable to set the receiving indexer!

Hey guys,

iam trying to create a silent installation of the UniversalForwarder using the .msi.

The parameter i set are:

"REBOOT=ReallySuppress"
'Public Properties

RECEIVING_INDEXER_HOST=""10.30.18.5""
RECEIVING_INDEXER_PORT=""9997""
AGREETOLICENSE=""YES""
IS_NET_API_LOGON_USERNAME=""USERNAME""
IS_NET_API_LOGON_PASSWORD=""PASSWORD""
IS_NET_API_LOGON_PASSWORD_CONFIRM=""PASSWORD""

During the installation i get the following error message:

Splunk installer was unable to set the receiving indexer!

How can i fix this?

Okay right Parameters are:

RECEIVING_INDEXER=""10.30.18.5:9997""
or
DEPLOYMENT_SERVER=""IP:PORT""

Same Problem when i try to enter IP and port at:

DEPLOYMENT_SERVER_HOST
DEPLOYMENT_SERVER_PORT
