Getting Data In

Splunk for NetScaler

Hi, What is the best method of getting data fro NetScaler into Splunk? Is Splunk able to communicate directly to a NetScaler appliance to get the data, or does the data need to be first forwarded to a SYSLOG or SNMP server?

Could somebody please advise on these scenarios?

Thanks

Hi I have got this logging via syslog and I can see data in the dashboard, but when I go to the loadbalancer view I get absolutely nothing.

Hi mrpickford

NetScaler can sent the data over syslog dirctly into splunk over udp://514 for example, works great.
