Hi,

I am using the Splunk cloud trial version and trying to use HEC to send logs, but when I use the URL I get below error:

{"text":"The requested URL was not found on this server.","code":404}.

Global setting is enabled already.
Please help.

Regards,
Sonalee Shyam

Have you configured a token and provide it in the right way while you're sending data to the HEC endpoint?

@sonalee86 What is the URL you are using? Have you verified you're using the right port number?

@arjunpkishore5

Hi Arjun,

I am using https://input-prd-p-XXXX-cloud.splunk.com:8088/services/collector.

Yes port is the default given in global settings and one can’t modify it in trial version.
