Hi,

I am trying to connect my database using splunk DB connect. and I am getting an error stating:

Communications link failure

The last packet successfully received from the server was 2 milliseconds ago. The last packet sent successfully to the server was 2 milliseconds ago.

Mysql Database Version: 8.0.22

Linux Version: 20.04 (where mysql is hosted)

Splunk DB Connect version: 3.4.1

Splunk Enterprise version: 8.1.1

Both Splunk machine and mysql server are on the same subnet.

Any suggestions/solutions would help!!

Thanks
