Splunk Cluster Agent Forwarding DATA to Peer nodes

In regards to the forwarding configuration we do have two issues
1.The puppet module is not able to set the target index just add forwarders and it will by default
send everything there.
2.Is there any possibility for the the peer nodes where log messages are sent to shouldn't be defined in the forwarder but on the peer nodes itself route log messages by their origin host(agents) on the indexer.

For example at the agents sides we have to must and should define the Index where it has to store the data as below.

server = 10.10.10.10:8888, 10.10.10.11:8888

Rather than manual configurations at Agent side, once the data would be sent by agent to the Peer nodes, Peer nodes should be able to identify the host from which the request coming and send the data to respective indexes. Is this possible. If so can you please kindly let us know the possibilities.

take a look at the send events to specific index docs, this is what you can setup on the indexers to send data from one universal forwarder (you call it agent) to a specific index.
