Rest API Endpoint: receivers is not found

Hi, I am trying to send the events to Splunk 5.0.1 through Rest API. After installed the server and had a look at

https://localhost:8089/services

I found there is no such endpoint "receivers/" and then I did not know how to do next step...

I admit the question is a little bit stupid.
However after searching a lot, I still found no solution.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for reply. The function works fine. It was my fault not to keep trying. I will try Splunk SDK later.
Thanks!

It should be much easier for you to interact with our REST API using our SDKs. Have you looked at any of these yet?
