Removing an indexer from an indexer cluster, what does the "decommissioning" status for a node mean?

Hi,

I want to remove an indexer from a cluster, permanently. I executed ./splunk offline --enforce-counts, and on the CM, I see that node as "decommissioning". What does that mean? Is it done? Will it automatically get removed from the CM later?

This is expected behavior, It will get removed when it completes this process. The indexer will remain in the list of peers on the cluster master until the master is restarted.
