REST Authentication with Java via certificate

Hello,

Can someone point me to a doc showing how to authenticate via rest with Java with a certificate? I can't seem to find how to set that up.

The Splunk REST API currently only supports HTTP BASIC auth or via a token in the Authorization Header.
