REST API POST - Saved Search Email Message parameter

There doesn't seem to be a parameter for actually setting a body message for an email when a saved search alert is triggered, using the REST API?
How can it be set?

I'd like to be able to refer to a field within the result search and detail it in the body of the email. If the message cannot be set can I use it within the subject?
