Guys,
I currently run splunk on a Windows box. Is it possible for me to move the database from Windows to Linux (CentOS) so that I can preserve my existing logs during the migration?

The referenced article talks about how to migrate from Windows to Windows or *nix to *nix. I just want to confirm that the instructions for Windows to *nix or *nix to Windows can be adapted because there are no instructions for migrating from Windows to Linux as the OP has requested.
