Is there a way to run the Splunk diagnostic tool from the console on server/forwarder?
As per the docs here, you should be able to just run splunk diag from the right folder (or provide full path). Is this what you were wanting?
splunk diag
You can also run btool in the same way - obviously using splunk btool instead of splunk diag.
splunk btool
