Getting Data In

Is there a way to generate SOAP request programmatically from web sphere logs(data elements logged in) using Splunk API(if any)?

I'm new to Splunk and exploring options. I want to know if I can extract/generate the SOAP request from WAS logs(using any of Splunk features e.g API's) that has required data elements logged in.

Would like to check If any API is available to automate this instead of using regular expression to extract data elements into a output file and then use out of box functionality to generate the soap request from output file.
