Is Mongodb supported by Splunk DB Connect add on?

Hi,

I would like to ask whether MongoDB is supported by Splunk DB Connect Add on's?
I looked into Splunk documentation but MongoDB is not listed as a supported database there.
However, I look into some answers by the Splunk community, there are developers that says it is supported.

May I know the answer to the following questions:

1. Is the Splunk Documentation not updated?
2. MongoDB is deprecated in Splunk DB Connect Add on?

Thank you.

Hi,

I didn't find any default connection type for MongoDB in my Splunk server that hosts DB Connect, but I know that It is possible to add additional drivers to support other Databases than the defaults.

If you need to add an additional driver, you can follow the steps available in this link: https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.13.0/DeployDBX/Installdatabasedrivers.

Hi!

From version 3.17, Mongo DB and Atlas are supported by DB Connect. If you are interested in learning about requirements, please check documentation:   https://docs.splunk.com/Documentation/DBX/3.17.1/JDBCMONGODB/About
