Ingesting GITHUB logs

Are there any best practices around ingesting Github data into Splunk. We have a Master Node and 2 Indexers. I am relatively new to splunk, any details will be much appreciated.

We do need to ingest other devop tool data but planning to go step by step.

Thank You,
Ganesh
