How to migrate Splunk Server from version 4.2.1 on Windows 2003 32 bit to version 6.1.2 on windows 2012 64 bit?

Hi,

I'm about to migrate whole splunk server from v. 4.2.1 on Windows 2003 32 bit to v.6.1.2 on Windows 2012 64 bits.
Could anybody advise what steps should I do to install new version and migrate all data and settings in the new version of application?

There is complete upgrade documentation in the Installation Manual, including pointers for upgrades starting on versions earlier than 4.3.
